Iron Mams & Andréa

Mamadou Traoré, better known as Iron Mam’s, is a talented dancer from Paris who – given his Senegalese and Malian background – has started his dancing career with African dances as well as Hip Hop. At first he discovered couple dances such as Salsa and Bachata and later fell in love with the sensuality of Kizomba. Through his background as a dancer and his ability to adapt to different dances easily, Iron Mam’s was able to create his own unique Kizomba style, which allowed him to win numerous competitions (e.g. KizEvent Oise, Kizomba In Love, Open Kizomba France) as well as the International Kizomba Open Championship 2013.

Together with his current dance partner Andrea, he teaches many classes and workshops across the world and will inspire all of us at the premiere of the BERLIN KIZZES festival in January 2015. There they will teach two Semba workshops (one for beginners and another one for intermediate dancers) and a Kizomba workshop (for intermediate dancers).
